- Tosca recently completed the build of another fully equipped
remote Lube service truck. The Body mounted on a Hino GT 4x4 chassis
induced storage tanks for 6 new oils of capacities between 250 and
600 litres, a waste oil capture and delivery system, a remote fill
manifold with tank monitoring systems to improve operator safety and
productivity.
- The operators equipment was powered via a Diesel
compressor/welder/generator connected to the truck fuel tank
delivering 30CFM of free air, enough to run the biggest of air tools
and provide plenty of power to the pumping equipment. The unit also
has a welder to allow on site repairs and 2x safety switch protected
240 volt outlets for electric tools. All controls were remote
mounted to the ground level to improve operator safety and
efficiency.
- The body also had a range of tool compartments fitted with LED
strip lighting, LED work lights, LED beacons. For safety the truck
also had a Roll over protection system (ROPS). The rear section was
fitted with fold out step units and an opening safety rail to allow
storage of additional equipment if required.
